The landscape has always been at the centre of my life and my work. Our family cottage, now enjoyed by four generations, sits among the lakes and forests that inspire many of my paintings.

I am drawn to the quiet moments found on the water: a canoe gliding across a calm lake, sunlight reflecting through the trees, reeds moving gently along the shoreline. These places hold some of my happiest memories, and painting them allows me to revisit and share them with others.

Through colour, light, and expressive brushwork, I hope to capture a sense of peace, joy, and connection to the natural world. My goal is not simply to paint a landscape, but to convey the feeling of being there.
